How to Take Things to the Next Level with Treasure Trooper...

Ok, so you've done all of the .50 to 1.00 cash offers on the site, you've been doing the daily surveys and you have a few affiliates under your belt. What's next? First work on expanding those affilates. Second, and maybe most importantly, consider doing some of the big cash offers. As I've said earlier, you can make decent money without ever using your credit card and that's true, but if those 25.00 offers are calling to you here's how you can get the cash without giving your bank card information. Buy a Visa or Mastercard prepaid card. That way you don't have give your bank info, you can put as much money on it as you want and you don't have to worry so much about who has your number. This will help you to land some of those big deals. I do want to stress that you don't have to go this route. Through the smaller offers, the surveys and affiliates you can make nice money, but for those willing to venture here's how.

Clix Sense Revisited

A few posts back I suggested Clix Sense as a way to purchase some traffic for your website. (http://www.clixsense.com/?2129784). I have had decent success with getting new members with this option, but I have been pleasantly surprised by their "Get Paid to Browse Ads" section. Its not unlike Hits4Pay (http://hits4pay.com/members/index.cgi?TomStubb) which I have posted on earlier, but I think it is a much better option since you can read up to 400 ads a day. With Hits4Pay I usually get half a dozen or so. It's not a huge earner but a nice complement when you have some down time. While its not necessary to upgrade to premium status, I do recommend it since you get a ton more ads that way. Best of luck guys...

A Treasure Trooper Tip

Just wanted to pass along an important Treasure Trooper (http://www.treasuretrooper.com/270448) tip. If you've done more than one offer from the same company there might be a delay in getting these offers approved. First, if you have offers in your pending box you can do them again (I'd wait about a week). To prevent this in the future, clear your history and browser cookies before you do each offer. This is how the company keeps track of your pasy visits. This way you will be considered a new visitor each time. Hope this helps.

How do I get affiliates?

One of the quickest ways is to buy traffic. These are programs that send visitors to your site. I like clixsense (http://www.clixsense.com/?2129784) because you determine how much you want to pay for click and can spend as little as $6. So, if I want 300 visitors I can play .03 per visitor it will cost 9.00. The thing is the more you pay the better placement you get. It's a quantity versus quality issue. I usually aim for the middle.

They also have a nice read ads for pay section. IT's like Hits4pay except you are given around 40 ads to choose from. You can also take your money that you've earned from reading ads and put it toward buying traffic for your own site. Nice feature. Definitely a program to add to the rotation.

YAP!

Yap is the acronym for "Your Actions Pay" program (http://www.youractionspay.com/index.asp?yapid=Deleuze). It's been getting a lot of buzz so after the urging of a friend I joined last night. Still far from giving it a thumbs up or down, but I did have a few observations from my first visit. What I like is they have three plans you choose from each gives different percentages to for different attributes. Some are more geared toward offers, others more towards affiliates. This probably means its not the best site to start on because you kind of have to know how things work and what your style will be. Looks like standard fare in terms of offers: surveys, product trials etc. I will say that I went to the coupons section (something I normally don't mess with these but was giving the site the once over so why not). They have a new twist on it. You get .02 for every coupon you print out. Whether or not that's worth the ink is up to you, but what surprised me was I couldn't load the coupon because the site doesn't support Vista. The site is a little slow as well. I will keep you posted on how things turn out with this one, but so far so good. Now its time to start earning. Still going to focus on my beloved Treasure Trooper though (http://www.treasuretrooper.com/270448) so I'm not sure how much time I will actually be able to allot to this venture. There are only so many hours in a day.

The Truth About SurveySpot

As I have said over and over, the way to make decent money is by getting a handful of programs (i'd say 4-6) and working them diligently. Having said that you have to choose wisely. For that reason, I would steer away from SurveySpot. Not that they aren't trustworthy. They do send checks (although it takes forever). There's just not much to be made here. They send you a fair amount of surveys to do, but the vast majority of them are for "entry into sweepstakes" rather than cash. I've never been lucky so this is not much of a payoff for me. Occassionally, a $6 or $7 survey will pop up and when it does I will generally do it depending on how busy I am with my other programs. On the whole, I have stopped paying much attention to my SurveySpot emails. Also, there's no affiliate program! I just wouldn't waste too much time with this one since others will reward your effort more generously ;)

Treasure Trooper

How can I say this bluntly. This site is a cash cow! Tresure Trooper specializes in surveys and trial offers more than reading emails. The price per offer is high (.50 up to $25 each)and they have one of the largest offerings of offers and surveys. You can spend all day there. The affiliate program is also strong. You get 20% of your affiliates earning and 5% of their affiliates' earnings. What I also like is that you can gain referrals by saving up "pearls" (which you collect upon completing offers). The member forums are also a great place to exchange tips on marketing as well as see some proof of member's earnings (They have a section for digital images of their checks!) Again, be careful with trial offers (see my guidelines for trial offers below). This one is turning out to be my big earner. Cash Crate

My experience with CashCrate. If you follow these basic rules you should be fine and make a decent wage with the program along the way. 1. Never give your credit card number for a trial membership to cover shipping or for any other reason. Even if you think you are paying less than what you will get from the program I'm still weary. Often the price goes up on the final page and you end up spending more than you get back. 2. Never give your phone number to a ringtones service. They will text you a code and if you accept you will have a charge on your phone bill. There are still many opportunities on this site which don't require this info. In general they are the ones that pay a little bit less but in the long run they make more. What I like about this program is that you referals are cumulative. In other words you get higher percentage of your downstream revenues based on the number of affiliates you bring. So there's definitely an incentive to get more members. InboxDollars

I think this site is kind of like the yin to Hits4Pay's yang. In other words, they're both profitable in complementary ways. With Hits4Pay its all about affiliates and you can't make much just reading emails. With Inbox it's the opposite. I remember the first day I joined I made $28 in about an hour doing surveys. The affiliate program is ok but not great. You get $5 for every person who gets a check (not just joins, but gets their account up to $30 and cashes out). Also, there are no second tiers kickbacks that I'm aware of. At the moment, I'm making more with Inbox because my Hits4pay is still growing, but I think this will switch in the future. Hits4Pay

At first I was a little skeptical about Hits4pay since you are only getting .02 per ad, but then I realized how quickly that can multiply through the affiliate program. Once you have someone sign-up under you, you will be credited .01 for each of the emails they read. Not only that, but if they sign-up affiliates you will also get .01 for those new members. You can see how this can quickly expand. My first few weeks were pretty slow and then I started added members who have since started added new members. Now I do very little marketing and get a nice monthly check. I think Hits4Pay is an ideal place to start since its very straightforward and the site is very organized with breakdowns of daily revenues as well as lists of new members that include their email so you can communicate with them. The Purpose of this Blog

This blog is intended to be a diary which chronicles my experience with the various work at home programs available online. Getting into this business can be dizzying. I'm going to try to relay my personal experience so as to potentially save potential headaches for those who are considering joining a service. Some work at home programs are definitely better than others, some should even be avoided like the plague. Others are strong in certain areas, forexample the affiliate program. All of that will come out with my journey. I hope that you will also share your experiences as well.
